Live Art Workshops: Ceramics for Kids

Ceramics 4 Kids: get immersed in clay by hand building, plaster mold making and pottery wheel throwing. For four Saturdays you will squelch, squeeze and squish their way through some exciting projects. Turn a bowl, texture tiles, create a frame, or just build a treasure chest.
4 Saturday sessions
Saturday 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th May 10am-12pm
10-12 students Ages 6-16yrs old
Price includes glazing and firing

Janine Delgos is a qualified secondary art educator and artist with 26 years of experience in the realm of Visual Art and Education. She has been a prolific teacher in both regional and coastal schools in and around the Sunshine Coast and is passionate at encouraging her students to explore and break conventions and boundaries to find their own narrative as well as fostering community creativity and mentoring the young and talented.
