Ceramics Workshop - Hand Build a Mug and Platter March 1st 2025

Gain more skills and confidence as you take your ceramic skills further hand building with slabs, molds and add-ons. Find an inner balance and connect with clay in this mindful, hands on workshop. Create your very own hand built coffee mug or stein and experience how to add handles to mugs and platters that can be crafted to reflect your own style and design. You will be inspired by decorative techniques to enhance your own pieces and get you addicted to this timeless craft. Small class numbers for focussed one on one tuition.

Included in your 2 hour workshop is clay, tools, and a bisque firing of your pieces (up to 3 pieces). Your work will be ready for collection in 2 weeks after firing in our kiln. Glazing and gloss firing is included for your 2 pieces.

During these pottery, our expert ceramicist will guide you through the basic steps of wheel throwing or hand buliding , teaching you how To make wheel-thrown or hand crafted pieces. You'll have the chance to make your own unique mugs, bowls, and more, all while immersing yourself in the soothing and calming process of working with clay.
