If you have completed our Beginners Pottery Wheel Workshop, or have had experience on the wheel, you will have even more fun in the Intermediate Workshop and learn about clay from the start by wedging, throwing, centring, forming, trimming, pulling handles, banding, under glazing and finally gloss firing. In this 2 day Intermediate workshop it’s about you progressing at your own rate, developing and practicing your mojo to feel at ease on the wheel and learn from the clay what you need to complete a set of items, made up of a cup or mug, bowl and platter, that will have your individual tag and style. Live demonstrations will give you one on one tuition and insight into the tricks of handling small to medium projects with your clay.
Time will be yours to spend on the wheel to master skills you have learnt and have fun creating with others to give an experience like no other... Your pieces will be bisque and gloss fired and included in your fee and this will be done in the weeks following your workshop. Should you require us to glaze your pieces this can be done for you. We will notify you of time to pick up your sets.
