Art Workshops Pottery Studio will provide beginners to advanced lovers of clay, techniques on the pottery wheel and hand building projects that you will be proud to use in your home whilst you experience the mesmerising effect of clay play in our beautiful studio in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Learn how to throw on a pottery wheel to begin your journey, or expand your skills to create functional or decorative pieces that can be crafted to reflect your own style and design. In these workshops you will learn to throw a small mug and 2 bowls to get you addicted to this timeless craft.
Or try your hand at hand building with clay to create a platter or a hand made lidded container or wall tiles. Small class numbers for focussed one on one tuition.
Included in your workshop is clay, tools, and a bisque firing of your pieces (up to 3 pieces). As an option you can come back and enjoy glazing your work in 2 weeks after firing in our kiln.

During these pottery, our expert ceramicist will guide you through the basic steps of wheel throwing or hand buliding , teaching you how To
make wheel-thrown or hand crafted pieces. You'll have the chance to make your own unique mugs, bowls, and more, all while immersing
yourself in the soothing and calming process of working with clay. Don't worry if you're a beginner, we have workshop designed to alleviate
any fears And create a fun and relaxed environment For you To explore your creativity.

your work will be fired and ready for collection two weeks after your class.
Glazing is not included in certain workshops. If you would like to book a glazing session (two hours) To come back again or have your glazing completed for you and sent to you options are available.
