What could be more therapeutic than a half day to play with clay! Relax and settle yourself into the mesmerising effects of the pottery wheel in the morning and experience the techniques of throwing 3 of your very own pieces on the wheel.

Then treat yourself to some platter nibbles for morning tea and get ready for a session of hand building with clay. Create your own platter and mug whilst decorating with textures and stamps.

Art Workshops Studio is just the venue to breathe in the mountain air and open up your creative energy and tap into the calming benefits of clay.

Included in your day workshop is clay, tools, and a bisque firing of your pieces (up to 3 pieces). Your work will be ready for collection in 2 weeks after firing in our kiln. It will also be gloss fired in one colour of your choice.

During these pottery, our expert ceramicist will guide you through the basic steps of wheel throwing or hand buliding , teaching you how To make wheel-thrown or hand crafted pieces. You'll have the chance to make your own unique mugs, bowls, and more, all while immersing yourself in the soothing and calming process of working with clay. Don't worry if you're a beginner, we have workshop designed to alleviate any fears And create a fun and relaxed environment For you To explore your creativity.
