Drawing and Mixed Media Course - Every Friday afternoon

It's time to make your mark in an exciting four week course that will include working with different drawing media and looking through new eyes at the world around you in a range of different ways. You will hone your observational skills and be captivated by the variety of 2 dimensional drawing media that can enhance your own artwork. The workshops will be continuously developing your skills and techniques with pencils, graphite, different types of intense charcoals and flowing inks.
As the class progresses you will learn what different “tools” to add to your own drawing tool box. A big focus will be on creating loose, fun images with plenty of movement with the emphasis on having “creative fun” to experiment and engage in play. At the end of the classes you will have a number of A4 artworks to frame, an A5 canvas, your own visual journal full of ideas and an insight into what you need in your tool kit to create with what you love. All art materials are supplied for you to use in the course.
Everything you need to begin your 4 week course is available in a basic drawing kit ($50) to purchase at the Art Workshops Studio should you wish to have your own materials and be prepared prior to your start date.
Your start date begins from your first Friday after your payment date. You will receive a workshop card with your 4 sessions and this is shown on arrival for each session until its conclusion.
